Held annually in October, this event funds experiential, hands-on learning opportunities. Students collect pledges from family and friends as they prepare to run laps around the field. A portion of the funds raised are split equally between grades K-7, with half to be used for current field trips and half to be saved for their culminating trip in eighth grade. The eighth-grade parents and students run the event, and their class keeps nearly half of the total funds toward their Historical field trip. The Physical Education program benefits, too, with a small percentage of the funds deposited into the school's account.
If you are paying a Jog-a-Thon pledge, please note the student's name, grade, and teacher in the "Message" section of the check-out page to ensure appropriate credit.
